Not merely at the level of \"I read the docs and grasped how the tool is used,\" but pushing further — into \"what design philosophy was this tool born from, and how does it work under the hood.\"\n::\n\n::callout\n[最近]{さいきん:recently:N3}のSansanの[事例]{じれい:case, example:N3}で[特に]{とくに:especially:N4}[印象]{いんしょう:impression:N2}に[残って]{のこって:to remain:N3}いるのが、AI[契約]{けいやく:contract:N1}データベース「Contract One」の[取り組み]{とりくみ:effort, initiative:N3}です。Contract Oneでは「[契約書]{けいやくしょ:contract document:N1}の[検索]{けんさく:search:N1}」が[重要]{じゅうよう:important:N3}な[機能]{きのう:function:N3}の[一つ]{ひとつ:one (thing):N5}ですが、プロダクトの[初期]{しょき:early stage:N3}フェーズでは、リレーショナルデータベースのみで[検索]{けんさく:search:N1}[処理]{しょり:processing:N3}をまかなっていました。ユーザー[数]{すう:number, count:N3}が[増え]{ふえ:to increase:N3}、[高度]{こうど:advanced, high-level:N4}な[検索]{けんさく:search:N1}[機能]{きのう:function:N3}に[対応]{たいおう:handle, support:N1}しきれなくなったタイミングで、[初めて]{はじめて:for the first time:N3}「Elasticsearch」を[導入]{どうにゅう:introduce, adopt:N2}し、アーキテクチャを[変更]{へんこう:change, modify:N3}する[判断]{はんだん:decision, judgment:N3}をしました。\n\n#en\nA recent Sansan case that stands out for me is our work on the AI contract database \"Contract One.\" Search over contracts is one of its key features, but in the product’s early phase we handled search with a relational database alone. Only when the user count grew and the relational database could no longer cover the advanced search needs did we first introduce Elasticsearch and decide to change the architecture.\n::\n\n::heading\n[強い]{つよい:strong:N4}[開発]{かいはつ:development:N4}[組織]{そしき:organization:N1}を[目指す]{めざす:to aim for:N3}ために[必要]{ひつよう:necessary:N3}な3つの[要素]{ようそ:elements, factors:N1}\n\n#en\nThe three elements needed to build a strong development organization\n::\n\n::para\nまず「[圧倒]{あっとう:overwhelming:N2}[的]{てき:-like:N4}な[技術力]{ぎじゅつりょく:technical skill:N2}」ですが、プロダクト[開発]{かいはつ:development:N4}においてエンジニアの[技術力]{ぎじゅつりょく:technical skill:N2}は[高い]{たかい:high:N5}に[越した]{こした:to surpass:N3}ことはありません。[特に]{とくに:especially:N4}、[私]{わたし:I, me:N4}たちが[扱う]{あつかう:to handle, deal with:N1}プロダクトはデータ[量]{りょう:quantity, volume:N2}も[多く]{おおく:many, a lot:N4}、[他社]{たしゃ:other companies:N3}で[前例]{ぜんれい:precedent:N3}のないトラブルに[遭遇]{そうぐう:encounter, meet:N1}することもあります。そうした[場面]{ばめん:scene, situation:N3}では、[相応]{そうおう:commensurate, appropriate:N1}のスキルが[必要]{ひつよう:necessary:N3}になります。\n\n#en\nFirst, on \"overwhelming technical skill\": in product development, the higher an engineer’s technical skill, the better. Our products in particular handle huge volumes of data, and we sometimes run into problems with no precedent at any other company. In such situations, commensurate skill is required.\n::\n\n::para\n[最後]{さいご:last, final:N3}に「[既存]{きそん:existing:N1}を[疑い]{うたがい:doubt, suspect:N3}[変える]{かえる:to change:N3}[力]{ちから:power, ability:N4}」についてですが、[人]{ひと:person:N5}はどうしても[現状]{げんじょう:status quo, current state:N3}を[維持]{いじ:maintain, preserve:N1}しながら[働こう]{はたらこう:to try to work:N3}とするバイアスがかかります。[常に]{つねに:always:N3}「あの[時代]{じだい:era, period:N4}に[作った]{つくった:made, created:N4}このルールは、[今]{いま:now:N5}も[本当に]{ほんとうに:really, truly:N3}[必要]{ひつよう:necessary:N3}なのか？」という[視点]{してん:viewpoint, perspective:N1}を[持ち続けない]{もちつづけない:to not keep holding:N3}と、[組織]{そしき:organization:N1}もプロダクトも[停滞]{ていたい:stagnation:N1}してしまいます。\n\n#en\nFinally, on \"the power to question and change what already exists\": people tend to be biased toward working while preserving the status quo. Unless you keep asking \"is this rule we made back then really still needed today?\" — both the organization and the product end up stagnating.\n::\n\n::heading\nAI[全盛]{ぜんせい:golden age, peak:N1}の[時代]{じだい:era, age:N4}だからこそ、「データ」の[価値]{かち:value:N1}がより[大きく]{おおきく:large, great:N5}なる\n\n#en\nPrecisely because AI is in its golden age, the value of \"data\" grows even larger\n::\n\n::para\nAIは、[具体]{ぐたい:concrete, specific:N3}[的]{てき:-like:N4}な[指示]{しじ:instruction, direction:N3}を[出せば]{だせば:if one issues:N5}[正確]{せいかく:accurate, precise:N3}に[動いて]{うごいて:to move, operate:N4}くれますが、[曖昧]{あいまい:ambiguous, vague:N1}な[指示]{しじ:instruction:N3}ではアウトプットが[安定]{あんてい:stable:N3}しません。やってほしいことをロジカルに、[曖昧]{あいまい:ambiguous:N1}さなく[伝える]{つたえる:to convey, tell:N3}[力]{ちから:power, ability:N4}が[重要]{じゅうよう:important:N3}になります。また、AIが[出力]{しゅつりょく:output:N4}した[結果]{けっか:result:N1}が[妥当]{だとう:valid, appropriate:N1}かどうかを[見極める]{みきわめる:to ascertain, discern:N2}[力]{ちから:power, ability:N4}も[欠かせません]{かかせません:indispensable:N3}。\n\n#en\nAI performs accurately when given concrete instructions, but with vague instructions its output is unstable. The ability to convey what you want done logically and without ambiguity becomes important.
