That challenge is the founding of the \"Platform Engineering Unit\" (hereafter, PEU). I was in my fourth year of my career and wanted to break out of my comfort zone and take on a new challenge. This lets development teams use common infrastructure capabilities — servers, DNS, load balancers, CI\u002FCD, security, monitoring — by running a command. Reducing the cognitive load on development teams is our major mission.\n::\n\n::para\nやりがいを[感じる]{かんじる:to feel:N3}のは[開発]{かいはつ:development:N4}メンバーから、[日々]{ひび:day-to-day:N5}の[運用]{うんよう:operation:N4}で[感じている]{かんじている:feeling:N3}[課題]{かだい:issue, challenge:N2}をヒアリングし、「これはOrbitを[使えば]{つかえば:if (you) use:N4}[管理]{かんり:management:N2}や[運用]{うんよう:operation:N4}が[不要]{ふよう:unnecessary:N3}になりますよ」と[提案]{ていあん:proposal:N1}できたときや、それが[実現]{じつげん:realization:N3}できたときです。「アプリの[構築]{こうちく:construction, building:N2}からデプロイまでが[本当に]{ほんとうに:really, truly:N3}[高速]{こうそく:high-speed:N3}[道路]{どうろ:road, highway:N3}のようにスムーズでした」と[言ってもらえた]{いってもらえた:was told:N4}ときは、とてもうれしかったですね。\n\n#en\nWhat I find rewarding is interviewing development team members about the issues they feel in their day-to-day operations, being able to propose \"if you use Orbit, you won’t need to manage or operate this any more,\" and then seeing it actually happen. On top of that, Orbit was still only a year into its launch, so assigning a dedicated PdM was judged to be too early.
