私たちが生活する上で、必要不可欠な社会基盤と位置づけられる施設や設備。人々の暮らしに無くてはならない存在――。“インフラ”（インフラストラクチャー）という単語には、こうした意味合いが含まれています。
The facilities and equipment positioned as the indispensable social foundations of our daily lives — things without which people’s lives cannot function. The word "infra" (infrastructure) carries this kind of nuance.
会社全体のインフラ戦略を担う少数精鋭チーム
Sansan株式会社で、会社全体のインフラ戦略の立案・遂行に責任を持つ部署がインフラ戦略部。2022年3月に組成されたばかりの少数精鋭のチームです。
Within Sansan Co., Ltd., the department responsible for drafting and executing company-wide infrastructure strategy is the Infrastructure Strategy Division. It is a small, elite team only just formed in March 2022.
インフラの戦略立案においては、事業全体の方針やサービスの課題・目標などをふまえて、プロダクトを横断した計画を作成します。さらにインフラの戦略遂行においても、各プロダクトのインフラ担当者とコミュニケーションを取りながら、施策実行をリードします。
For strategy planning, they craft cross-product plans grounded in the overall business direction and the issues and goals of the services. For strategy execution, they lead the rollout of initiatives while communicating with the infrastructure leads of each product.
多様なシステムと膨大なデータ・トラフィック
Sansanはウェブアプリやモバイルアプリをユーザーに提供するだけではなく、紙の名刺や請求書、契約書などをデータ化するシステムや、他社サービスとの連携のためのシステムも構築しています。さまざまな要件やニーズを実現するために、採用するインフラのコンポーネントも必然的に多様性が高くなります。
Sansan does not just offer web and mobile apps to users: it also builds systems that digitize paper business cards, invoices, and contracts, as well as systems for integrating with third-party services. To meet such varied requirements and needs, the infrastructure components we adopt inevitably become highly diverse.
また、営業DXサービス「Sansan」の契約件数は8,000件を超えており、BtoB SaaSとしては国内最大級の規模を誇ります。他にも、キャリアプロフィール「Eight」やクラウド請求書受領サービス「Bill One」など、成長著しいサービスも開発・運用しています。
Additionally, the sales DX service "Sansan" has over 8,000 contracts, boasting one of the largest scales for a domestic BtoB SaaS. We also develop and operate other rapidly growing services, such as the career profile "Eight" and the cloud invoice-receipt service "Bill One."
扱うデータやトラフィックの規模は非常に大きいです。そのためサービスを安定的に稼働させるために、高い可用性や信頼性、機密性を実現できるインフラ設計が求められます。
The scale of data and traffic we handle is enormous. To keep the services running stably, we need infrastructure designs that can deliver high availability, reliability, and confidentiality.
壁を越えて磨かれるスキル
こうした技術要件を実現する過程では、数多くの困難が立ちはだかります。しかし、そうした壁を乗り越えていくなかで、インフラエンジニアとしてのスキルが洗練されていきます。
In the process of realizing such technical requirements, countless difficulties stand in the way. But as we overcome those walls, our skills as infrastructure engineers are sharpened.
