愛子さま、東京のラオスフェスティバル開会式に出席
天皇、皇后 両陛下の長女 愛子さまが、5月23日午前、東京都渋谷区の代々木公園で開かれた「ラオスフェスティバル2026」の開会式に出席したと5月23日に報じられた。
Princess Aiko, the eldest daughter of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, was reported on May 23 to have attended the opening ceremony of Laos Festival 2026 at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward that morning.
代々木公園での開会式
愛子さまは、公園の野外ステージで行われた 式典に姿を見せたとされる。
Princess Aiko is said to have appeared at the ceremony held on an outdoor stage in the park.
愛子さまは、ラオス側から贈られた 淡い 緑色の民族衣装を身に着けていたという。
She was said to be wearing a pale green traditional costume presented by the Lao side.
式典では、ラオス国立舞踊団による歓迎の舞が披露され、愛子さまは笑顔で拍手を送ったと伝えられた。
At the ceremony, a welcome dance by Laos' national dance troupe was performed, and Princess Aiko was reported to have applauded with a smile.
関係者とともにテープカット
愛子さまは、トンサワン副首相兼外相ら関係者とともに、会場でテープカットに臨んだ。
Princess Aiko took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the venue with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Thongsavan and other officials.
歓迎の舞の後、愛子さまは関係者とともにテープカットへ進み、開会を祝う 場面が見られたとされる。
After the welcome dance, Princess Aiko moved with officials to the ribbon-cutting, in a scene said to have marked the festival's opening.
ラオスとの交流の流れ
愛子さまは、去年11月、日本とラオスの外交関係70周年を記念するため、ラオスを訪れたとされる。
Princess Aiko is said to have visited Laos last November to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Laos.
今年1月には、駐日ラオス大使と夫人が主催した 夕食会にも出席したという。今回の開会式への出席も、日本とラオスの文化交流への関心を集める 話題になったと見られる。
She also reportedly attended a dinner hosted in January by the Lao ambassador to Japan and his wife. Her appearance at this opening ceremony is also seen as drawing attention to cultural exchange between Japan and Laos.
