高市首相、豪州から帰国
高市早苗首相は5日夜、ベトナムとオーストラリアへの訪問を終え、政府専用機で羽田空港に帰国した。
Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi returned to Haneda Airport on the government's official aircraft on the evening of the 5th, ending her visit to Vietnam and Australia.
今回の訪問は、高市氏が首相に就任してから初めての両国への公式訪問とされる。
This trip is said to be Takaichi's first official visit to both countries since taking office as prime minister.
供給網の強化で一致
首相は5月2日のハノイでの会談で、ベトナムの首脳とエネルギーや重要鉱物に関する供給網の拡大で一致したと報じられている。
At a meeting in Hanoi on May 2, the prime minister is reported to have agreed with Vietnam's leader to expand supply chains related to energy and critical minerals.
5月4日にはキャンベラの国会議事堂でアルバニージー首相と日豪首脳会談を行った。

両首脳はエネルギー安全保障、防衛協力、重要鉱物など幅広い分野での連携強化で合意したと見られる。

インド太平洋戦略を更新
高市首相はハノイでの演説で、日本がインド太平洋地域でより「積極的な」役割を果たすと表明したとされる。

10年ぶりに改定される「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」戦略は、経済基盤の強化、共通課題への対応、そして安全保障協力の深化を柱にする見込みだ。
